Jennifer Lopez reunited with rapper LL Cool J for “Control Myself,” a catchy hip-hop track released in 2006 and featured on his eleventh studio album, Todd Smith. The collaboration marked another musical pairing between the two artists, following their hugely successful 2002 hit “All I Have.” Produced by Jermaine Dupri, with co-production by LRoc, the song blends LL Cool J’s confident rap delivery with J.Lo’s smooth guest vocals. Built around a sample of Afrika Bambaataa and Soulsonic Force’s “Looking for the Perfect Beat,” the track delivers an energetic, old-school-inspired sound with a modern 2000s hip-hop vibe.

Jennifer Lopez:
No me puedo controlare
Aqui con el señor LL Cool J
Y aqui estoy… ya tu sabes
Uno, dos, tres, muevete!
Jermaine Dupri:
Ya’ll know what this is…So…So…Def!
