Jennifer Lopez joined forces with Brazilian music legend Roberto Carlos for “Chegaste,” a romantic duet released digitally on December 16, 2016. Sung in Portuguese, the heartfelt ballad showcases a softer, more intimate side of J.Lo as her vocals blend with Carlos’s unmistakable voice. The song was originally written in Spanish, with the Spanish-language version titled “Llegaste” later appearing on Carlos’s 2018 album Amor Sin Límite. Their collaboration brought together two internationally celebrated artists across languages and musical traditions. J.Lo described working with Carlos as an honor, celebrating the opportunity to record with a true living legend.

Lyrics
Chegasto (Lyrics):
Tanto tempo já vai caminhando
E ainda me pego recordando
