El Mismo Sol (Under The Sun)

Jennifer Lopez teamed up with Spanish singer-songwriter Álvaro Soler for a special Spanglish version of “El Mismo Sol,” the feel-good summer hit that helped launch Soler’s career in 2015. Originally released in Spanish, the song was reworked for international audiences with additional English lyrics and J.Lo’s vocals, bringing an extra dose of star power to its sunny Latin-pop sound. The collaboration reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart in December 2015, and the two artists performed it together at an iHeartRadio event that year. In 2016, another version appeared under the title “El Mismo Sol (Under the Same Sun).”
