The official music video for “Feel the Light” by Jennifer Lopez, from the soundtrack to DreamWorks Animation’s Home, was directed by Hype Williams and released on March 20, 2015. The visual combines footage of Lopez performing the emotional ballad with scenes from the animated film, creating a cinematic experience that connects the song’s themes of love, hope and belonging with the movie’s story. Lopez appears in a striking white outfit with her hair styled in a long braid, performing against a green screen that allows the production to place her within a series of futuristic, intergalactic environments. The space-inspired imagery gives the video an otherworldly atmosphere, with colourful cosmic visuals complementing the song’s soaring vocals and emotional intensity. Before the official video premiered, DreamWorks Animation released a lyric video on February 24, 2015, featuring Lopez recording the song in a studio alongside clips from Home. Lopez later teased the official video on Instagram on March 3, sharing behind-the-scenes photographs from the green-screen shoot. The finished video brings together live-action performance and animated storytelling, highlighting the song’s role as one of the key musical moments from the film’s soundtrack.
