Jennifer Lopez joined Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte for “We Are One (Ole Ola),” the official song of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Released as part of the tournament’s official album, One Love, One Rhythm, the upbeat anthem celebrates unity, football and the power of music to bring people together. Co-written by the artists alongside Sia, RedOne and other songwriters, the track blended international pop with Latin influences. Following feedback about its Brazilian identity, an alternate version incorporated the distinctive drumming style of Afro-Brazilian group Olodum, which featured in the music video. The song went on to achieve international chart success, reaching No. 1 in several countries.
