Jennifer Lopez joined legendary guitarist Carlos Santana and rapper Baby Bash for “This Boy’s Fire,” a fiery Latin-pop and dance track released in 2007 as the second single from Santana’s compilation album Ultimate Santana. The collaboration brings together Santana’s distinctive guitar sound, J.Lo’s confident vocals and Baby Bash’s rap verse for a vibrant, rhythm-driven song. Originally announced in September 2007, the track impressed the team enough to earn a place on the album’s final tracklist. With its energetic Latin influences and sultry atmosphere, “This Boy’s Fire” showcases an exciting crossover between rock legend Santana and two prominent voices in contemporary pop and hip-hop.

The story
Lyrics
This Boy’s Fire (Lyrics):
I believe in never let my strip get hotter
Than something I can get out of
One that heats up on me
I told ’em this would be a once time dance
Meaning one time chance
After I said that, oh
That’s when he got close to me
All the other music stopped but the violin
Conversation, one dance, sip a bottle of the best
Now I’m asking myself “what has he done to me?”
