The music video for “Goin’ In” featuring Flo Rida was filmed in June 2012 and directed by Ace Norton. Known for its vibrant colours, glittering visuals and high-energy choreography, the video embraces a spectacular party atmosphere rather than following a traditional storyline. It opens with Lopez blowing a dandelion through her crystal-covered lips, with the seeds transforming into glittering particles that float into space. One of the video’s most striking beauty looks features individual crystals carefully applied to her lips by makeup artist Mary Phillips. Lopez also appears in a bright pink cape surrounded by white wolves before moving through a series of dazzling sets filled with sparkling outfits, laser lights reminiscent of her “Waiting for Tonight” video, and an army of dancers. The production features neon paint, dancers breaking through brightly coloured walls, drums filled with coloured sand, bouncing cars and fire hydrants spraying vivid liquid. Footage from Step Up: Revolution is interwoven throughout, alongside appearances by the film’s cast, Flo Rida and rapper Lil Jon. Producer GoonRock also makes a brief cameo approximately one minute into the video. Flo Rida later described filming his scenes around a Lamborghini and performing his verse while running on a treadmill as an unusual, over-the-top experience. A preview was released on July 23, 2012, before the full video premiered on MTV’s MTV First: Jennifer Lopez on July 25, 2012.
