She’s just been named the most powerful female celebrity by Forbes magazine while slated to begin a world tour and her new film hits theaters this Friday, but now it appears as if Jennifer Lopez is backing out of her position as judge on “American Idol.”

After two consecutive seasons as judge, Lopez – who flaunted her fabulous 42-year-old swimsuit figure for the June 2012 issue of Vogue magazine – first hinted at not returning for another season on a recent episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” saying, “I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down.”

Jennifer Lopez on making it work, day to day:

“My sanctuary is my bathtub. That’s really the only time I get to myself. It’s usually around 15 or 20 minutes, but for me, those minutes are like heaven on earth. Sometimes I even say a little prayer while I’m in there. I’m like, ‘Lord, help me get through this day!’”

She’s a never-ending source of awesomeness and beauty, and Jennifer Lopez is on the cover of V Magazine’s Spring 2012 issue.

She has had a crazy year so far, and things are only getting more intense as her Latin American talent show “Q’Viva The Chosen” is taking over the entertainment industry.

Jennifer explained, “There are so many differences in the Latin community. Someone from Mexico and someone from Puerto Rico have different foods, different traditions. There’s an education to be had. Even as I was going through the different countries, there were certain forms of music that I didn’t know about.”

As for working with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, J. Lo shared, “I mean, we’re parents and friends first. That will be the thread that ties us together. I don’t know if people expect it to be negative just because the [intimate] relationship didn’t work out.”

Lopez explained their working dynamic- “We defer to Marc when it comes to musicians. When it comes to dance and showmanship, he defers to me.”
