English title: I Need You
Released on March 23, 2007, “Me Haces Falta” (“I Miss You”) was the second and final single from Jennifer Lopez’s Spanish-language album, Como Ama una Mujer. Written and produced by Marc Anthony and Estéfano, this emotional Latin pop ballad explores heartbreak, regret, and self-loathing, featuring drums, cello, bass, and guitar alongside Jennifer’s expressive vocals. Critics praised the song’s lyrics and her vocal performance, although the production received a more mixed response. Its dramatic music video, directed by Sanji, stars Jennifer as an undercover FBI agent who turns her lover over to the police before struggling with the consequences. She also performed the song during her 2007 tour with Marc Anthony.
