JLuxe by Jennifer Lopez was launched in 2015 as a floral fruity fragrance inspired by Lopez’s confident fashion image and her appreciation for glamour, statement styling and luxury. It followed JLove, extending a perfume family that combined feminine fragrance with bold visual presentation.
Created by perfumer Veronica Casanova, JLuxe opens with pineapple, raspberry and bergamot, creating a juicy, bright introduction that blends tropical fruit with citrus. Its heart features violet, ylang-ylang, orris and Damask rose, adding a floral dimension that is both soft and expressive. Amber, musk and cedar form the base, providing warmth and a smooth woody finish. The bottle design is particularly memorable: an opaque black square flacon paired with a transparent cap decorated with a black-and-gold zebra pattern.
This combination gives the perfume a more dramatic and fashion-led appearance than the clear, rounded bottles of the original Glow family. JLuxe was released in spring 2015 and belongs to a period when Lopez’s fragrance range was exploring more sophisticated, statement-making styles. Its composition brings together fruit, florals and warm woods, while its packaging reflects the boldness associated with Lopez’s red-carpet looks. JLuxe is therefore an important entry for collectors interested in the visual and olfactory evolution of her fragrance portfolio.
