The promotional video for “Emotions” by Jennifer Lopez was directed by Emil Nava and released in June 2014 to promote her eighth studio album, A.K.A.. Shot entirely in black and white, the atmospheric teaser features Lopez seated at a piano in an empty industrial warehouse, performing the heartfelt ballad in an intimate, stripped-back setting. The minimalist visuals place the focus on her expression and the song’s emotional delivery, creating a more reflective contrast to the colourful, high-energy visuals associated with other tracks from the album. The clip also incorporates footage from Lopez’s previous music videos, linking the new song to different stages of her career. Released on June 11, 2014, the promotional video offered fans another preview of A.K.A. ahead of the album’s release on June 13, 2014.
